FAQ

  • Do I have to want to teach to join the 200-hour training?

No. Many students join 200-hour training to deepen their personal practice, understand yoga more fully, and learn in community. Teaching may become part of your path, but it does not have to be your only reason for enrolling.

  • How much yoga experience do I need before 200-hour training?

We recommend having a consistent yoga practice before beginning. If you are newer to yoga, we suggest attending classes regularly for a few months before enrolling so you feel more comfortable with the practice.

  • Do I need to be advanced at yoga?

No. Bend Academy is not about performing advanced poses. It is about learning, practice, awareness, curiosity, and growth.

  • Do I need a 200-hour certification before the 300-hour training?

For the full 300-hour advanced training, students should generally have completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training or receive approval before enrolling.

  • What are the 300-hour paths?

Immersion Into Yoga offers three focused paths: Power Path, Gentle Path, and Therapeutic Path. These paths help students specialize their advanced study.

  • Can I take 300-hour modules individually?

Some modules may be available individually for continuing education, depending on the training, schedule, and space available.

  • Is Ascend Into Yoga open for enrollment?

Ascend Into Yoga is currently in development. Interested students may join the interest list to receive updates as the program becomes available.

  • Are payment plans available?

Payment plans may be available for select programs. Details will be listed on the individual program page and reviewed before enrollment is complete.

  • Are deposits refundable?

Deposit and refund policies vary by program. Please review the specific training agreement before enrolling.

  • What happens if I miss a training weekend?

Attendance requirements vary by program. Some missed hours may require make-up work, mentorship, or completion at a future training. Review your program’s attendance policy before enrolling.

  • Will I receive homework?
