THE BEND ACADEMY
Your yoga journey continues with the 300-Hour Immersion Into Yoga study group. The yoga style is a combination of traditional Hatha and modern Vinyasa, giving students a strong foundation that can be applied to any teaching style. But it also goes much, much deeper. We will explore the many dimensions of yogic philosophy and lifestyle, advanced teaching topics, and helping students see the world through the lense of yoga.

This advanced 300 hours of yoga study will enhance your love & understanding of yoga principals, broaden your experience of yoga, & deepen your relationship with yourself and your peers. Share your teaching expereice and recieve amazing information from other teachers.
Space is limited in our in-person training, we like to keep our group size small and intimate to maximize your experience. You will receive lots of one on one attention from each of your instructors. Plenty of time to ask questions and develop clarity and comprehension.

WHEN SHOULD I START:
While we recommend you start with Subtle Bodies (JUNE), you can begin your journey when it is conveninet for your schedule. Each module is stand alone.
HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO FINISH THE 300 HOUR COURSE WORK:
The Bend Immersion 300 hour program should be finished within 24 months of your start date.
TIME COMMITMENT:
One weekend a month for 10 - 24 months (see dates below). Each weekend has 19 hours of contact with lead trainer. There are about 11 hours of non contact work per module. This may include pre-work before the module but most often it is post module work to show that you grasp the concepts presented in the module and can apply the knowledge to your teaching style.
IS THE IMMERSION INTO YOGA PROGRAM A REGISTERED SCHOOL WITH THE YOGA ALLIANCE?
Yes.
ARE THERE ANY PRE-REQUISITES:
Yes, we highly recommend that you complete at least 200 hours of study before attempting these advanced study groups. Your 200 hour certificate from any yoga school is acceptable. You do not have to be registered with the Yoga Alliance (RYT 200).

We keep our class size small. 12 Students max per module.

Ready for some
Yoga Alliance continuing education? Not ready for a full 300 hour training experience? Each module offered in the Immersion Into Yoga Proagram can stand alone and meets Yoga Alliance continuing education requirements for registered yoga teachers. Modules can be taken individually for up to 18 Yoga Alliance CEU's. |

1. 190 Hours Lectures
2. 60 Hours Practice/Community Involvement
3. 20 Hours Practice Teaching
4. 30 Hours Independent Study/The Bend Academy Peer Support
- Attend 10 live modules in person at The Bend Yoga Studio.
- All modules must be in the advanced Immersion Into Yoga series or advanced area of studies for yoga teachers.
- All lecture hours will be with Bend Academy Lead Trainer.
- 19 hours of lecture per each module.
- Lectures will contain teaching techniques, methodologies, philosophies of yoga, lifestyle, and ethics for teachers.
2. 60 Hours Practice/Community Involvement
- Practice 60 hours of asana with your Bend Academy Lead Trainer.
- You can attend classes in person.
- Community Involvement includes: Study Groups, Book Club, Movie Night, and Practice Teaching opportunities with The Bend Yoga Studio.
- 6 Hours of asana practice/community involvement per each module.
- A log to track your personal practice will be provided for you and all hours must be signed off by your lead trainer.
3. 20 Hours Practice Teaching
- Your Karma (offered for free) hours for the practicum.
- 2 hours of practice teaching per each module
- All 20 hours must be recorded and turned in, or written out in detailed sequence with exact script with supervision from your Bend Academy Lead Trainer.
4. 30 Hours Independent Study/The Bend Academy Peer Support
- Peer Support emails with The Bend Academy staff and studying on your own (no need to track).
- This can include viewing additional lecture content, further study of Light on Yoga, or deepening your understanding of your 300 YTT material with your mentor.
- 3 hours of independant study per each module.
