Who can apply for Ascend Through Yoga?
Applicants should have completed a 200-Hour and 300-Hour Yoga Teacher Training (total 500 hours) plus
at least one year of teaching experience and one year of consistent personal practice.
How long does the program take?
The 400-hour training typically spans 18–24 months, depending on practicum pacing and mentorship scheduling.
Is this program IAYT-accredited?
Ascend is designed to align with the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT) competencies.
Accreditation is a formal, multi-step process; the first cohort will train under the full IAYT framework while
we complete approval steps.
Can I join if I didn’t complete Immersion Into Yoga with Bend?
Yes—if you hold an equivalent 300-hour certification. A short bridge module may be required to harmonize foundations.
What’s included in tuition?
Live in-studio sessions, approved synchronous distance modules, practicum mentorship, training materials,
and access to The Bend Academy’s resource library. Travel, lodging, and personal props are not included.
Do I have to attend every live session?
Live participation is strongly encouraged for experiential learning. Select sessions may have replays, but
practicum and mentorship hours require real-time participation.
